FAQ

Have Questions? You can find most of the answers below:

Are the decals painted on?2026-05-28T19:41:15+08:00

They’re not painted on — they’re applied as decals (stickers) onto the base paint, then covered with clear coat. This sandwich method gives you the look of paint without the cost of custom masking, and the clear coat keeps them protected against peeling, fading, and UV damage.

Can I buy just the decals or stickers?2026-05-28T19:40:36+08:00

No, we don’t sell decals separately. The graphics on your fairing are decals that are applied during the painting process and then sealed under clear coat. This means they won’t peel or fade like an exterior sticker would.

What’s included in the price?2026-05-28T19:08:46+08:00

Your street fairing kit includes the full bodywork set, custom paint matching your design, and free shipping worldwide. Race bodywork includes the fiberglass set, Dzus fasteners, foam seat pad, and windscreen – painting and extra parts like tank cover, ram air duct are available as add-ons.

Please note: the base kit covers the standard bodywork set. On some models, full tank cover and tail cover may require an additional cost – check the product page for details.

What shipping methods do you offer?2026-05-28T18:32:52+08:00

Free shipping is included in the price. For US orders, we ship via sea freight + local carrier (UPS / FedEx) for final delivery. For other countries, we ship via China Post airmail.

If you need faster delivery, China EMS express is available at an additional cost – just ask for a quote before ordering.

My tracking hasn’t updated in weeks – should I worry?2026-05-28T18:28:21+08:00

Depends on where you’re located. For US orders, your package travels by cargo freight – once it’s on the boat, tracking goes quiet until it reaches the destination and clears customs. That’s normal.

For other countries, it’s shipped via China Post airmail. Tracking usually updates at key points: when it leaves China, when it arrives in your country, and when it’s out for delivery. If it’s been stuck at the same status for a while, feel free to reach out and we’ll check for you.

Either way, hang tight – it’s on its way. If it’s been significantly longer than expected, contact us with your order number and we’ll look into it.

Do you accept custom painted fairing orders?2026-05-28T18:20:52+08:00

Absolutely – custom painting is what we do best. Send us your design (a photo, a sketch, or just describe what you have in mind), and we will figure out whether it is doable on your fairing or not. Generally, no extra charge for custom paint on street fairings.

Can I cancel a fairing order?2026-05-28T18:17:39+08:00

You can cancel within 2 days of placing the order, no questions asked. After that, production may have already started. If the fairing has been painted, we can’t cancel – but we can work with you on the cancellation fee.

When are the fairings expected to arrive?2026-05-28T18:16:17+08:00

Production takes about 15 working days. Shipping takes another 20+ working days. Total delivery time is roughly 35–40 working days from order confirmation. If you need it faster, ask us about express shipping options.

What’s included in a race bodywork set?2026-05-28T17:37:50+08:00

Each set includes: front fender, upper section (nose + left and right side panels), lower section (belly pan), and a race tail – or a stock tail if you prefer. Extra-cost add-ons: tank cover, ram air duct, and painting job. Dzus fasteners, foam seat pad, and a clear windscreen are included at no extra charge.

I haven’t received a dispatch email2026-05-28T17:37:48+08:00

Dispatch emails are sent automatically once the shipping label is created. If you haven’t received one, check your inbox and spam folder first. Still nothing? Let us know and we will resend it manually.

Can I reduce import taxes?2026-05-28T17:37:45+08:00

A few riders have had success with this approach: split your total into two payments – a smaller amount (around $100) that gets declared as the package value for customs, and the rest paid separately. We will provide an invoice for that declared value if customs asks for it. Not guaranteed, but worth a try.

Will my fairing arrive safely?2026-05-28T17:37:43+08:00

Yes – we’ve been shipping fairings worldwide for nearly two decades. Every box is packed with clean, waterproof foam padding – we know exactly what it takes to get them there in one piece. Your fairing will arrive just the way it left the workshop.

How much will my custom design cost?2026-05-28T16:51:57+08:00

The base kit price covers the fairings with custom paint included – free on street fairings. For race bodywork, painting is available as an add-on for $300. Send us a reference photo and your bike model, and we will confirm the total for you.

Does race bodywork come painted?2026-05-28T16:51:55+08:00

No – it ships in white gel coat, unpainted. If you want it painted and ready to bolt on, we offer a painting add-on for $300 which you can select on the product page. If you are planning to paint it yourself, just know that gel coat needs quite a bit of sanding and prep work before it is ready for paint.

Are there customs and import charges?2026-05-28T16:51:52+08:00

Yes – import duties and taxes are the buyer responsibility. The rules vary by country. For the USA, packages under $800 are typically duty-free. For other countries, it depends on local thresholds. We declare the package at around $100 to help reduce your cost, but please check with your local customs for the exact rate.

How do I receive updates after placing my order?2026-05-28T16:51:49+08:00

You will get email notifications at key stages – when the order is received, when production starts, and when it ships. If you ever want a status update in between, just reply to any of our emails and we will check for you.

Do you have the paint color code for me?2026-05-28T16:45:10+08:00

We do our best to match your desired color, but please understand we can’t guarantee 100% match to factory paint codes. If you’re planning to paint your tank or wheels to match the fairings, we recommend working with a local paint shop who can color-match in person – we’re unfortunately not able to provide an international color code for that.

Can I use race bodywork on the street?2026-05-28T16:38:44+08:00

We wouldn’t recommend it. Race bodywork doesn’t have mounting points for turn signals, mirrors, or license plate brackets. It’s designed for track use where those things aren’t needed.

What’s the difference between street fairings and race bodywork?2026-05-28T16:38:41+08:00

Street fairings are injection-molded ABS plastic – same as OEM, bolt-on ready, with custom paint included free. Race bodywork is hand-laid fiberglass, built for the track – lighter, with Dzus quick-release fasteners instead of OEM mounting points. Different tools for different jobs.

What if I receive a damaged fairing piece?2026-05-28T16:38:34+08:00

It’s rare, but if a piece arrives damaged, we’ll replace it at no charge. Let us know within 48 hours, keep the part unused and in its original packaging, and send us a photo. We’ll handle the rest.

What if I want to return a kit?2026-05-28T16:38:31+08:00

You can return a kit within the return window if it doesn’t meet your expectations. No restocking fee, but return shipping is on you. If there’s a defect – paint issue, fitment problem, or damage – contact us and we’ll sort out a replacement. Check our Returns & Refunds page for the full policy.

What if customs asks for more information?2026-05-28T16:38:28+08:00

If customs contacts you, they usually need some documentation to process the release. We can provide an invoice and shipping details if needed – just let us know and we will send it over right away.

Is the fairing a direct bolt-on fit?2026-05-28T16:38:15+08:00

Our injection-molded fairings are made using the same process as OEM bodywork – heated ABS plastic is injected into precision molds, producing parts with the same holes, tabs, and contours as the original. That’s why they bolt right on with no modification needed.

For vintage sportbikes where injection molds aren’t available, we use compression molding instead. These are hand-finished by our master craftsmen, and may require minor adjustment during installation. We mark all mounting spots clearly before shipping.

Do you ship to PO boxes?2026-05-28T16:38:12+08:00

We don’t ship to PO boxes, unfortunately. Most carriers won’t deliver large packages like fairings to PO box addresses, and they often get returned. Please provide a street address for delivery.

What if my shipment is delayed?2026-05-28T16:38:10+08:00

Delays can happen – customs processing, weather, or shipping volume can all cause holdups. If your package is past the expected window, contact us with your order number and we’ll look into it for you.

When will I receive the tracking info for my order?2026-05-28T16:38:05+08:00

Tracking info is sent via email once your package is shipped. It usually takes a few days after dispatch for the tracking number to show movement – that’s normal.

Where do you ship to?2026-05-28T16:37:33+08:00

We ship worldwide – USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Asia, and pretty much everywhere else. If you’re unsure whether we cover your country, just drop us a message and we’ll confirm.

What payment options are accepted?2026-05-28T16:37:20+08:00

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe, which also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can also choose Klarna, Affirm, or Afterpay for buy-now-pay-later options at checkout.

Can I order a design not featured on your website?2026-05-28T16:37:15+08:00

Absolutely – the designs on our site are just examples. If you have a specific design in mind – a MotoGP replica, a custom color scheme, or something completely your own – send us a reference photo and we’ll make it happen.

Is it possible to modify logos to the kits?2026-05-28T16:37:13+08:00

Yes – we can modify, remove, or add logos to any design. Want a Repsol without the text? Want your name on the tail? Just let us know before production starts.

Can I purchase individual pieces of a fairing?2026-05-28T16:37:05+08:00

Yes – we sell individual fairing pieces. If you need a specific part – whether for a custom project, after a crash, or an older model – just let us know your bike model and which piece you need, and we will check availability and quote you. No need to buy a full set if you only need one part.

We keep molds for most models, so chances are we can still make the piece you need even for older bikes. For crash replacements, sending us a photo of the damage helps us confirm the right part quickly.

How do I install the fairing?2026-05-28T16:36:59+08:00

Installation is straightforward for anyone who’s worked on their bike before. Your new fairing uses the same mounting points as the original – just remove the old panels and install the new ones using the existing hardware.

If you run into any questions during installation, just reach out – we’re happy to help.

Will your fairing parts fit with my OEM bodywork?2026-05-28T16:36:56+08:00

Yes – if it’s marked as injection molded, it’s a direct bolt-on. Same holes, same tabs, same fit as your original bodywork. Take off the old one, put on the new one. No drilling or trimming needed.

For vintage models where we use compression molding instead, a small amount of adjustment may be needed – but our masters mark the mounting spots clearly before shipping.

What material is used for the fairings?2026-05-28T16:36:52+08:00

We use virgin ABS plastic – the same grade OEM manufacturers use. It’s chosen for its strength, heat resistance, and the ability to hold paint well. No recycled materials, no shortcuts.

Where is GoMotoTrip based?2026-05-28T16:36:48+08:00

We’re based in Guangzhou, China – right where our factory is. That’s how we keep prices direct and quality controlled from start to finish.
